The many mages of the empires of old wouldn't pretend that they can't see,
And deep in the caves encased in ice, I hear there sits an invincible summer in your eyes,
So many brave explorers died because they couldn't fucking let it be.

When winter with its talons grips and pins you to the rocks, the hail is lashing at your sides, your flesh is raw,
The mighty ships are frozen, creaking, in the empty docks, and you've forgotten what you ever bothered for.
Oh, I could tell you stories of the Goddess's descent, and how the sun was stolen from the sky,
But in the end the power of her love made Death relent, and people clearly see the reason why.
